Agree the meeting point before the journey.
Airport-linked luggage delivery works through a clear authorised handover. PORTADOR BLACK does not imply airside access, a terminal counter or collection straight from the baggage belt.
Distinguish flight time from bag readiness.
Arrival time is not the time you can release bags. Immigration, baggage reclaim, customs and terminal movement can affect readiness. Tell the team your onward deadline so the permitted collection window can be assessed in IST.
Agree a permitted landside point.
Use the exact meeting instructions confirmed for the movement and a reachable contact. Do not leave bags unattended at a location pin or expect a collector to enter security. A terminal label alone is not a collection appointment.
Use a hotel or home alternative when suitable.
A property handover may be more practical after a stay or before departure, subject to serviceability. Confirm access hours, luggage-release authority and the person who can receive or release it. Hotel luggage storage is not automatically included.
Check the pieces at release and receipt.
Keep an inventory and relevant condition photographs. Confirm bag count, visible packing condition and the shipment reference with the authorised collecting person. An earlier AWB means a record exists; it does not establish physical collection.
Know when customs questions are separate.
Bags under airline or customs control are not ordinary ready-for-collection pieces. Unaccompanied baggage, international courier and temporary import/export procedures can differ. Follow current official guidance or qualified advice; a PORTADOR AWB does not replace a customs certificate or release.
Can you collect while I am still inside immigration?+
Standard collection follows applicable arrival formalities at an agreed permitted landside location. The team must review readiness and timing.
What if the flight or meeting point changes?+
Contact BLACK promptly with the existing reference. The revised arrangement is not confirmed until the team reassesses it.
