PERSONAL LOGISTICS GUIDES

Practical answers before your belongings move.

Use these planning questions to prepare a clear brief. Your route and items still need individual assessment, and official rules can change. Supporting guidance was checked on 14 October 2026.

From the lobby, with everyone’s permission.

Arrange authorised hotel-lobby release and receipt for eligible bags, gifts and personal belongings without assumed room access or storage.

Decide what stays with you.

Check your ticket and current airline instructions. Keep travel documents, essential medicine, cash, keys and immediate needs with the traveller. Use the Excess Baggage Guide to compare actual pieces and full quote scope rather than assumed allowance savings.

Read the contents and packing guidance.

Passenger permission does not establish separate-cargo acceptance. Review the Contents Guide and Restricted Goods policy before packing batteries, liquids, valuables or unusual items. Describe each piece and the protection it needs before choosing a service.

Keep cross-border classifications clear.

Domestic forwarding of released bags, unaccompanied baggage and international courier movements can follow different procedures. Official Indian guidance now includes the 2026 baggage framework. Neither personal use nor a wedding or relocation label creates a universal exemption.

Prepare an authorised handover.

Review the Airport Handover Guide for landside collection, hotel alternatives and piece checks. Name the releasing and receiving people, identify permitted access and give usable readiness and receiving windows. Do not rely on an unattended bag or a location pin.

Keep one reference if plans change.

Use the available secure edit/support path and original enquiry reference or AWB. Report delivery concerns promptly with the inventory, condition photographs, quote and packing. The team reviews facts under the accepted terms and applicable law; no automatic refund or full-value compensation is implied.
