One request. A plan for what matters.
You can be travelling, arranging a gift or simply moving selected personal belongings between addresses. Start as a guest with your contact details and the items to be assessed; no flight is needed for a personal-logistics enquiry.
01 / Tell us what you want to move.
Describe actual pieces, contents, collection and delivery locations, readiness and the requested receiving window. Mention travel, an occasion or a property handover where relevant. Approximate weight per piece is a useful start; India collection preferences use IST.
02 / Establish authority and access.
Identify who owns the items, who can release them and who can receive them. For a hotel, apartment, store or permitted offsite meeting point, confirm access and the relevant contact. Full addresses and any required documents belong in the secure steps when requested.
03 / Review the assessed plan and quote.
The team checks route, contents, packing, timing and handling. Read included services, billing weight basis, taxes and any applicable extra scope before accepting. Your preferred collection time becomes an appointment only when PORTADOR confirms it.
04 / Keep the shipment reference.
An initial enquiry reference acknowledges the request. A completed accepted shipment has a PORTADOR AWB that is also its tracking and public shipment ID. Issuance does not prove payment, physical collection, carrier acceptance or guaranteed delivery. Record the actual piece handover under the confirmed instructions.
05 / Receive, check and follow up.
Arrange an authorised reachable recipient and check piece count and visible condition at delivery. Track recorded updates within BLACK with the issued AWB. Keep the quote, reference, packing and relevant photographs when asking for a change, proof of delivery or issue review.
International requests need an additional assessment.
The planning form begins with collection in India; an overseas destination requires international review. For collection outside India, email black@portadorblack.com. Neither a personal gift nor hand carry removes applicable customs, carrier or document requirements.
Do I have to be travelling?+
No. Selected packed personal belongings, gifts and individual purchases can be requested for assessment without a flight or hotel booking.
Is submitting an enquiry a confirmed booking?+
No. Quote acceptance, payment and confirmed collection are separate stages. The team reviews the actual request before committing to movement.
