INTERNATIONAL DEPARTURES
A considered departure starts with your bags.
Leaving India can mean moving bags to your departure city, sending belongings elsewhere in India or arranging international forwarding. Identify which journey you need so the correct service can be assessed.
Work back from your flight.
Give the departure airport, date, terminal if known, check-in deadline and current bag location. Separate your desired delivery time from the airline’s actual requirement. Allow the team to review packing, processing and a permitted handover before accepting a plan.
Choose a practical receiving point.
A home, hotel or authorised recipient in the departure city may be easier to coordinate than a terminal meeting. Airport delivery needs a reviewed landside point and a reachable recipient. PORTADOR does not check bags onto your ticket or enter security on your behalf.
Check the ticket you actually hold.
Airline, fare, route and connecting-ticket arrangements affect allowance. Review current airline guidance and decide which pieces stay with you. BLACK does not offer a universal suitcase entitlement or promise forwarding always costs less than airline excess baggage.
Sending goods overseas is a separate service.
State the destination country, postcode, contents, purpose and declared value. Export/import requirements, carrier eligibility and the recipient’s ability to complete formalities need review. An enquiry can be considered without confirming overseas collection, clearance or a fixed delivery date.
Think ahead if valuable articles will return.
Indian Customs describes export-certificate procedures for relevant articles taken abroad and brought back. Ask customs or a qualified adviser whether this applies before departure. A PORTADOR packing list, photo or AWB is not a customs export certificate.
Will the bag travel on my passenger flight?+
Same-flight carriage is not automatic. The accepted plan specifies how the goods move separately from your passenger booking.
Can I request India-to-Singapore delivery?+
Yes. Give both postcodes, exact items and timing for an international review. No universal rate, availability or customs promise follows from the request.
