BLACK website policy · Reviewed 14 October 2026 · Contracting entity: PORTADOR Logistics Private Limited
Personal logistics with a defined scope.
BLACK assesses travel logistics, selected packed personal belongings and individual occasion requirements. Clothing, books, soft furnishings, gifts and purchases must be accurately described and accepted for the actual route. A request does not automatically include whole-home removal, furniture handling, a packing crew, storage, shopping, installation or specialist art and jewellery transport.
A request, a quote and a confirmed collection are different.
An enquiry records your requirement. A quotation describes the assessed service, charges and conditions. Collection is confirmed separately after your acceptance and PORTADOR’s operational review. An issued AWB identifies the shipment; it is not proof of payment, physical collection, airline acceptance or a guaranteed delivery.
Tell us accurately what is being moved.
You must own the items or have authority to send them, describe contents and value honestly, supply accurate contacts and required documents, prepare suitable packing and arrange an authorised recipient. A hotel, retailer, property staff member or family contact must have the owner’s authority to release the pieces. Declared measurements are good-faith estimates; PORTADOR verifies packed weight and size for the agreed billing basis.
Use a permitted, authorised handover.
Collection and receipt at a home, apartment, lobby, accommodation, store or agreed offsite point require actual permission and access. A reservation, order reference, location pin, cloakroom receipt or AWB does not itself authorise third-party release or restricted-area entry. A customer’s chosen location does not create a BLACK office, partner relationship or free holding arrangement.
Acceptance and changes remain subject to review.
PORTADOR may review, refuse, hold or return an unsafe, prohibited, misdeclared or unsupported shipment before, at or after pickup. Customs, screening, airline capacity, weather and route conditions can affect movement. Address changes, waiting, returns, storage or special handling may alter scope and cost; the applicable basis must be explained rather than treated as a hidden flat fee.
Know the agreed cost before paying.
Use only the payment instructions associated with the reviewed PORTADOR quote. Taxes, packing, collection, delivery, handling and any applicable third-party charges should be identified. International-card acceptance, complimentary insurance, storage allowances and automatic compensation are not implied. Cancellation and claims are handled under the BLACK Booking & Refund Policy.
Declared value does not create unlimited cover.
PORTADOR’s contractual liability limit, if liability arises, is ₹2,500 per shipment, subject to mandatory applicable law. These terms exclude delay and indirect or consequential-loss claims to the extent legally permitted. Any separately arranged insurance is governed by the insurer’s accepted policy, exclusions and assessment; it does not automatically increase PORTADOR’s contractual liability. Discuss valuable or irreplaceable items before acceptance.
Applicable law and help.
Indian law applies. These terms provide for courts at Delhi, subject to mandatory law and any statutory consumer forum or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. For a service question or complaint, email black@portadorblack.com with your enquiry or AWB reference. Do not email passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents.
Does generating an AWB mean my pickup is guaranteed?+
No. It gives the accepted shipment record its identifier. Collection, carrier acceptance and the movement plan remain separate operational steps.
Does declaring an expensive item insure it?+
No. Value declaration supports assessment and documentation. Any insurance or special-risk arrangement must be separately agreed and evidenced before movement.
